This collection of photos is from my visit to Iceland in June 2013. We started off in Heimaey,The Westman Islands, and then back on the mainland we followed the south coast to the East Fjords. The constant changing scenery never ceases to amaze me - the west coast is so very different in look and atmosphere than the east coast. And the south coast area with its glaciers and the stunning glacial lagoon are visually spectacular. Wind, rain, fog, and the occasional sunny, blue sky makes every day an adventure in Iceland.
I spent 6 weeks in Greece many years ago, without a camera at that time, and then had the pleasure of re-visiting about 10 years ago - with a 35 mm camera in hand. Unfortunately, the negatives are missing, so these are not available for purchase, but I still wanted to include a few scanned images that remind me of this ancient land and my time spent there.
My trip to Australia happened before I was using a digital camera - and therefore these photos are not available with the same options as my other galleries. I do however, have the negatives for most of these shots, so if there is something you are interested in, please contact me via email and I will try my best to accommodate you. Australia is such an amazing place that I wanted to include a small sampling of photos from that trip. Enjoy!
A selection of photos from my first two trips to this fascinating island nation in 2007 and 2010. Includes: Reykjavik, Snaefellsnes Peninsula, The Golden Circle, and the beautiful south coast region including Vik and the Glacial Lagoon. If you ever get the opportunity to go, don't miss it! What an enchanting place.
